Dirty Spaghetti

 

Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef or pork
1 lb. spaghetti pasta
1 onion, chopped
½ red bell pepper, chopped
½ green bell pepper, chopped
¼ cup celery, chopped
2 tablespoons garlic, minced
2 teaspoons flour
2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
½ tbsp red pepper flakes
1 tablespoon dried parsley
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
1 tablespoon dried oregano
2 beef bouillon cubes dissolved in 2 cups water.

Directions

1. Boil pasta until al dente, then drain.

2. Brown the meat in a large skillet over medium heat. Drain excess grease. Season with Cajun seasoning.

3. Add onion, bell peppers and celery. Cook until softened.

4. Sprinkle in flour and stir well. Let it cook for 1–2 minutes.

5. Add garlic and all remaining seasonings, stir to mix well.

6. Pour in 1-2 cups of liquid (bouillon water) and simmer until thickened.

7. Add drained spaghetti and toss until fully coated.
