Roz's Eight Layer Dip

 

       Ingredients

½ lb ground beef

16 oz. can refried beans

8 oz sour cream

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 packet of taco seasoning

10-12 oz guacamole

16 oz. chunky salsa

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (Mexican blend)

2.25 oz can black olives, drained

1 ½ cup shredded lettuce


Directions

Cook ground beef and add in 2 tablespoons of taco seasoning.

Combine the cream cheese, sour cream, and remaining taco seasoning.  Blend until smooth.

 In a large serving dish, prepare the layers as follows:

Layer 1:  Refried beans

Layer 2:  Cream cheese and sour cream mixture

Layer 3:  Ground beef with taco seasoning

Layer 4:  Guacamole

Layer 5:  Salsa

Layer 6:  Black olives

Layer 7:  Shredded lettuce

Layer 8:  Shredded cheese

 Serve immediately or store in the fridge for up to 3 days before serving.
